Breathe & Be – A Practical (and deeply relaxing!) Breathing Workshop

What we’ll be doing:
In the session you’ll explore a range of practical breathing techniques:
🌬 Anatomy & physiology – learning not only to engage the diaphragm fully for efficient oxygen exchange, but also how to employ other respiratory muscles to take a FULL breath.
🕊 Extended exhales & breath holds – calming the nervous system and improving control
💨 Pranayama – yogic techniques to easily lengthen and direct the breath
📿 Japa – using mala beads.  Repetition to anchor the mind & connect breath with intention
🧘 Yin & Yoga Nidra – integrating the techniques in stillness
